Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how GradeCove Learning (“GradeCove,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when adults use gradecove.com, request free educational resources, contact us, or purchase digital products.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use GradeCove, we may collect:
- Resource-request information: name, email address, and consent choices submitted through our forms.
- Support information: your email address and the information you include in a support or contact message.
- Purchase information: product purchased, order status, customer email, and other transaction details made available to us by our checkout provider. Payment-card details are processed by the checkout provider and are not intentionally collected or stored by GradeCove.
- Website and analytics information: limited browser, device, page, and interaction information when analytics consent has been granted.
- Technical information: information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and protect the website.
Please do not submit student names, dates of birth, schools, assessment scores, health information, or other sensitive information about a child through our website forms or support email.
2. How we use information
We may use information to:
- Deliver requested free resources and digital products.
- Process, verify, and support purchases.
- Respond to customer-service and technical-support requests.
- Send educational updates, product news, or offers only where the recipient has provided the required marketing consent.
- Measure website performance and understand how visitors use GradeCove when analytics consent has been given.
- Maintain website security, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Service providers
GradeCove relies on third-party service providers to operate the website and deliver its services. Current providers include:
- Lemon Squeezy for checkout and payment processing. Lemon Squeezy acts as the merchant of record for purchases completed through its checkout and may process payment, tax, fraud-prevention, order, and refund information under its own terms and privacy practices.
- Brevo for email forms, resource-delivery communications, mailing-list management, and related email services.
- Google Analytics 4 for website analytics when the visitor accepts analytics cookies.
- Hostinger for website hosting and related infrastructure.
These providers may process information on our behalf or, where applicable, for their own legal and operational purposes. Their own privacy terms may also apply.
4. Free resources and marketing email
GradeCove may require an adult email address to deliver certain free resources. Consent to receive marketing messages is separate and optional. Declining marketing email does not prevent an adult user from requesting a free resource where that resource is otherwise available through the form.
Promotional emails include an unsubscribe method. Transactional or resource-delivery messages may still be sent where necessary to fulfill a request or purchase.
5. Cookies, local storage, and analytics
GradeCove uses essential browser storage for functions such as remembering cookie choices and supporting website operation. Google Analytics 4, Measurement ID G-PNE2YPZ24C, is activated only after a visitor accepts analytics through the GradeCove cookie banner.
Analytics may measure events such as page views, product views, file downloads, free-resource requests, contact submissions, and checkout starts. GradeCove's current implementation keeps advertising storage, advertising personalization, and advertising user-data consent disabled.
You can change your analytics choice using Cookie settings in the website footer. See our Cookie Policy for more information.
6. Legal bases and required processing
Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, GradeCove may process information because it is necessary to fulfill a request or transaction, because you have given consent, because we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing the website, or because processing is required by law. The applicable basis depends on the activity and your jurisdiction.
7. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including customer support, resource delivery, recordkeeping, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal or tax obligations. Retention periods may also depend on the systems and legal obligations of our service providers.
8. Security
GradeCove uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small digital educational business. No website, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or data portability. You may also unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe option in the message.
To make a privacy request, email support@gradecove.com. We may need to verify that the request relates to your own information before completing it.
10. International processing
GradeCove and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, applicable safeguards and provider contractual protections may be used for international data transfers.
11. Children's privacy
GradeCove's website forms and purchasing flow are intended for adults. We do not knowingly seek personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to GradeCove, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
12. Third-party websites and checkout
GradeCove may link to external websites, including Lemon Squeezy checkout. Information you provide directly to a third party is governed by that third party's terms and privacy practices. GradeCove is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, service providers, legal obligations, or business practices change. The date shown at the top identifies the latest published version.
